1. To crunch the numbers-
To perform numerous calculations based on a large volume of data and information, in order to find an answer.
example: The CEO crunched the numbers for this year's workload and informed us that we can afford to hire ten new employees.
2. Off the top of your head-
An estimation you make based solely on your knowledge, without consulting data or information.
Example: When she asked me about this years numbers, I answered off the top of my head, estimating that we had about 300,000$ in profit.
3. To keep someone in the loop-
To keep someone updated and informed aboit a situation or decision making process.
Example: Since Ben went on his trip abroad, I'm doing my best to keep him in the loop with everything concerning his project.
